Free MapViewer for Linux with Emerillon MapViewer

Emerillon MapViewer is a GIS software running on Linux system. This is an easy to use and user friendly map viewer for Linux. This Emerillon MapViwere was tested very well in Ubuntu system. This software car read and display the OpenStreet maps. Currently Emerillon is in development and there is no stable version yet. But its already usable on your Linux.

The Emerillon project was announced on 6th Oct last year and since then it has progressed pretty well. It is still in development mode, no stable version has been released yet, although Emerillon 0.1.1(a development package) was released on 9th Jan 2010 and is available for download on the website.
